Frequently Asked Questions


Pay what you can

  • To make the benefits of restorative yoga accessible to all, classes are offered on a “pay what you can” model. The suggested contribution for most classes is $20.

  • Workshops and Retreats may have fixed fees; please see event descriptions for details.

  • To give back to our wonderful local community, Harmony Street Yoga donates a percentage of profits to the New Castle Historical Society.

Getting to class

  • Classes start at the displayed time. Please arrive 5-10 minutes early to prepare your space and mind.

  • The studio is located in a residential area with ample street parking and is a short walking distance from Historic New Castle’s downtown.


What to wear and bring

  • Wear clothing in which you can move comfortably.

  • Yoga is usually performed in bare feet or socks.

  • Cubbies are provided for shoes, purses, water bottles, etc.

  • The studio is kept at room temperature year-round. If you are often cold, you may want to bring a cozy layer to wear during relaxation periods.

  • Props (blankets, blocks, bolsters, etc.) are provided. 

  • Bring your own mat, or use one of ours.


Please note…

  • The studio is a place to disconnect — set phones to silent.

  • No photography is allowed without permission.

  • Food is not allowed inside the studio.

  • The studio does not have a restroom or changing facilities.
